Mom's Homemade

Shop local at these Ottawa-area Christmas markets

The holiday season is fast approaching and Christmas markets across Eastern Ontario are in full swing. We always enjoy these markets, which support many passionate local vendors, and this year there’s another reason to check a few of them out…

No supply chain concerns. You can do your Christmas shopping for a wide range of locally-made gifts and not worry about delivery issues, or whether it will arrive before Dec. 25. See, feel, taste, smell, chat, learn about the vendors and their products, and check off some of the boxes on your holiday gift list in one fell swoop.

Mom’s will have a busy schedule over the next few weeks attending Christmas markets and bazaars large and small. And as long as local health regulations allow, we’ll be sampling Mom’s mild, medium and hot salsas at all the events. We’ll even have our extra-hot MOM’s WRATH blend (yes, the one with the Carolina Reapers in the jar, and the Grim Reaper on the label) through the holiday season, if you’re up for some really, really hot salsa.

We’d love for you to stop by, say hello, sample the salsas, and learn about Mom’s product and our story. Here’s where you will be able to see us, along with links to the market website or Facebook page, if one is available.
